We designed this RED Camera enhancement LUT to give a boost of color in the right places such as the shadows, midtones and highlights.
REDs color science works wonders straight out of the box. But we wanted a way to give the footage an enhancement it needs to look natural and cine-like.
We designed this RED LUT to be used with (please use both together):
- RED's Gamma curve: Gamma3
- RED's Color space: DRAGONcolor2
This can easily be changed in either RED RAW video settings on filmed footage or in your RED camera.

Our goal with this was to create a beautiful cine LUT that will work in nearly all scenarios.
This is one of our favourite creations while being very subtle. We designed this to enhance the cine colors on RED footage using Gamma3 and color space DRAGONcolor2, while maitaining correct skin tones and not creating too much of a film look.
You can change the gamma curve and color space easily in camera or on the RAW file.
